CatScram Operation

CatScram uses a 9-volt alkaline battery (not included) or a 9-volt AC/DC adapter.

Turn the power ON, and position the unit in the area requiring protection. Placing the unit at about 3 feet aboe the floor level will give a detection distance of 15 feet in an area sweeping 90 degrees (See Figure A). For counter top, stove top, or table top protection, plaement is best at the back of the counter (See Figure B).

After the unit is warmed up (40 seconds) the CatScram goes to work. The LED will flash simultaneously with the emission of four seconds of pulsating ultrasonic waves each time movement is detected.
